My exploration into Hatha and Vinyasa yoga began around five years ago as I struggled to find a form of physical activity that would challenge my body while simultaneously quieting my mind. At the time, I was beginning my post graduate studies in Organisational Psychology and I needed a way to distance myself from the stress and pressure of day to day life. My passion for teaching yoga comes from sharing knowledge that not only improves one physically but also mentally and emotionally. I love showing people what they are able to accomplish with some dedication and perseverance. I truly believe yoga is accessible to anybody and everybody. My teaching style is grounded in practicality. I want you to come into class and leave with knowledge and skills you can use on a daily basis. My courses are usually progressive, building on knowledge class by class. With regard to credentials, I earned my RYT 200 hour certification at Akasha Yoga, taught by its founder Don Peers through the Elixr School of Yoga at Bondi Junction.
On a personal note, I love meeting new people and never take myself too seriously. I encourage my students to do the same. I look forward to seeing you soon and please feel free to reach out on my contact page if you have any questions.
What Students Are Saying
"Anna has the ability to connect with anybody. She is personable and makes you feel comfortable if you have never tried yoga before. Her humour and warm personality make classes fun, engaging and I always leave with new knowledge."
